Boating

 Grandpa and Grandma came up during the fair and stayed with us a few days and took us boating.  We decided this was the best time ever because the fair was going on and no one was on the river but us!

I even tried to ski despite my pulled hammy from our killer kickball game back in July at family reunion!  I haven't skiied for years but it was fun!

Actually through all the bumps he continued to hold his hand up in stop position and would only hold on with one hand.  He figured out if he wears his goggles then he is less frightened because the water doesn't splash in his eyes. 

Valerie got the most air this trip.  I was sitting next to her and was laughing after recovering from big air.  I saw my mom's face in the boat.  She had a look of panic.  I looked over and realized Valerie was gone.  She had done a huge back flip out of the tube.  She was scared but ok after we all praised her!

Gas was an issue for us this week! The first time we took the boat out, Grandma Renee and I had to go find a tank and fill it with gas and bring it back because we forgot to fill it before we got in.  The second day we filled up the tank and must of had a blast because no one realized we were on empty and it was nearly dark. We ran out of gas in the middle of the river and paddling was getting us no where.  Luckily our kids can yell in distress very well and we were rescued by the only other boat on the river!
