Baby Ty 3 months old and bald!

Once again I have waited until the end of month to blog and so now I have to do a few entries all at once! Ty just had a check up at Dr. and all is well. He still throws up a ton but everyone knows that now and is well shielded when they hold him! Despite the upchucking he is still gaining wait. At 3 months he weighs 12 lbs 9 oz., just under the 50%. His height is 24 inches - 75%. He is starting to fatten up and grow into his HUGE eyes! He loves to be held and bounced and has started cooing and smiling lots.

Spring Break Meridian!

We packed in the fun at Grandma & Grandpa Kellers house this spring break. The weather was perfect and the company terrific! Most of the time our husbands/uncles had to work but that didn't stop moms and kids from partying. We went snowboarding, swimming, decorated cookies, had an easter egg hunt, enjoyed a picnic in the park, got visited by Leprachans, played at Boondocks, filled out March Madness brackets and cheered for BYU as they finally won their first round game! We even had Uncle Cameron lead us in scripture study - something the kids won't be forgetting anytime soon. The adults were able to eat Cheescake Factory, play Settlers, and stay up and talk until the wee hours of the morning. Once again I am so grateful for family!

Cousins after egg hunt of 200 eggs!

Ty has got to grow up so Gavin won't be so outnumbered by girl cousins!

Boondocks!

Dave got to sneak away for a day to go snowmobiling with Cade, Grandpa, and Brandon.

Cade got snowblinded while driving alone and jumped a ditch.

It didn't go so well as he didn't quite clear it. He went through the windsheild and broke it. Luckily he had a helmet on as it was cracked. He had a sore jaw and knees for a few days but was soon back to normal and ready to try again.

Cheescake Factory
We just kept ordering cheescakes! Brandon even went home with extra bread brought out at the end of dinner by our waitress.

What a weekend!

This past weekend was filled with excitement as Dave celebrated his 40th Birthday, Mikayla was baptized and confirmed, and Ty was blessed. We were glad that both set of grandparents were able to be there as well as cousins Kalin, Olivia, & Alex, and dear friends the Pages & Poulsens.

8 is great!

Ty almost 3 months.
I think he was our first baby that didn't cry through their blessing.

Cousins

We celebrated Dave's birthday by going to Chile's to eat with some friends. It was a hard night for the waitress and cook. The food wasn't so great (wait I never even got my meal and Dave's steak turned into a hockey puck not once but twice!) but the company was great and fun memories were made. This year I didn't get Dave anything special but I did make him a candybar poster (3 poster boards full) that turned out very clever but not G rated for publishing! I think Dave is terrific so I gave him a card and in the card I told him 40 different reasons I love him.

Lock him in a cell!

"Guards seize him! Lock him in a cell!"

I walked into the kitchen the other day to see Valerie under the table. I asked her what she was doing and she replied, "I was rotting in jail."

The play "Joseph and the technicolor coat" still live on in my house even though the kids have been done performing for over a month. I got a good laugh watching Hailey and Valerie act out the jail scene.

8 is great!

Mikayla's Primary teacher, Sister Bennett brought her over a cookie bouquet! She was so excited and even shared with the family.

We spent some girl time at the Boise mall shopping and eating pretzels. Mikayla chose an outfit and coat from her favorite store, "Justice for Girls." She also couldn't wait to get our pictures taken together in the mall booth. Mikayla and Ashley were trying to talk me into getting another dog (only 1500 dollars) for Dave's birthday. NO WAY!

The next day we went ice skating. They had the cutest walkers for Valerie and Hailey so they could skate alone. Poor Mikayla started getting terrible stomach cramps the night before but insisted we try skating. She didn't get to skate much as she was in a lot of pain. It wasn't until the 3rd night of pain that I finally took her into the ER. It was determined she had strep throat (weird). We got her on some good pain meds and she slept for an entire day!

DQ ice cream cake. She didn't even get one bite because as soon as we brought the cake out was when her stomach cramps started. At least she had fun at the mall before getting sick.
