Ashley's hair is all decked out with her new Streak n' Style!
Acting out our nativity. Our neighbor friend, Tori came over for the evening.
My little angels! Aren't they adorable!
We had a wonderful Christmas. We had our traditional Christmas Eve candle light dinner with shrimp, frape, and calzones. (we strayed a little bit from taco's) The kids acted out the nativity and then opened their P.J.'s. Cade could absolutely not sleep. He came upstairs at 1:30 am asking how he could get to sleep. Luckily, Santa had not come yet. I told all the kids that no one was supposed to get up before 7:00am. Cade was up at 5:00am and woke everybody up. I think I am still try to get everything put together. Toys are tied in boxes so well these days. We are getting the girls ipods figured out. It is funny to hear them sing when they have their earphones on. Ashley's favorite to sing to is "sweet escape" by Gwen Steffani. She knows every word. We are ready to hit the road tomorrow to go and visit with family. We can hardly wait to see everybody!

Christmas Shoes
I can't believe it is almost Christmas. Time flies when your old. My kids are getting so excited. I finally finished delivering gifts to neighbors, friends, teachers, and secretaries. I decided yesterday afternoon I was going to read instead of clean house. I am so glad I did. I have read this book "The Christmas Shoes" before but it is always good to read again. It was inspiring to me and helped me put back into perspective what is really important. Needless to say, I called Dave to come home for a family dinner and then we had a game night with the kids and snacks of course. I rocked my baby a little longer and tried to enjoy the little things. I have so much to be grateful for but sometimes I don't realize it when I am caught up in everything that needs to be done.

Extraordinary housewives!
Extraordinary housewives strike again. I have a group of friends that are lots of fun. We get together occasionally for lunches, girls night out, painting projects, kid swapping, etc. Our latest project was to decorate a tree and donate it for the festival of trees to be auctioned for charity. After some minor difficulties, our tree stood straight and tall and looked gorgeous. It sold for a wopping 450 bucks. Way to go guys! What's next?

The merry bunch!
We finally did it. We got all dressed up with only a few tears and smiled for real. We have put up our tree this year and have had to undecorate the bottom half due to Valerie. She loves the balls and brings them to me often. So far we have had only one breakable ball - and that was due to Hailey. She broke the ball on one of her friends head. Yep, its really glass. Needless to say, I have not told the friends mom yet. She just thinks her daughter got into glitter.
