Hanging with the cousins

We were so excited that Jenn and her 3 1/4 kids drove all the way to Idaho from California to see us! They left Todd behind and made the 13 hr drive. We were sad that most of them came down with the throw ups but were glad they recovered quickly. Erin and kids and Grandma and Grandpa Keller joined us for boating fun later in the week when they new they were safe from sickness. (we had all been sick a few weeks before and no one wanted it again). The boys were way out numbered but we sure had lots of fun!

Ty sits so funny. He has the perfect balance!

The Ty-ster turns 8 months old

Ty 8 months
19 lbs 9 oz
27 3/4 inches long
17 3/4 head circumference

What a cute rolly polly little guy Ty has turned out to be. The first 5 -6 months he seemed to cry a lot, never sleep, and had to be held and jiggled. Now he is so CONTENT and happy. I love it! Sometimes I wonder if I can squeeze him too hard. He just got his two lower teeth and had his first ear infection. He has started sleeping through the night which is heaven. He sits up and balances with his legs off the ground. You think he may fall back but he doesn't. He has the biggest eyes and smiles all the time. He has just learned to clap. He also loves to try and copy the girls when they make noise. He loves the jumper and the remote controls to the TV. We are so happy he is part of our family.

Shirley Family Reunion

Oh what fun we had hanging out with soooo many cousins!! 26 total I believe! The kids loved the jumpy water slide, broom hockey, crafts, swimming, going to the mountains, and no one could forget the REPTILE guy! Ty had his first ear infection the day we left. Luckily, I was able to get into the Dr. on our way out of town. He was miserable for the first few days but bounced back quickly.

Hailey was one determined girl! Not many could climb this wall but there was no way she was not going to make it to the top. Even Dave gave it a try and made it of course.

Zip line up the in the American Fork Canyon

This was the coolest private pool we have ever been too. It had imported palm trees, a waterfall you could jump off of, and a water slide you could go down with tubes! Don't forget the huge covered eating place and fireplace. The bathrooms there were way nicer than mine!

Our own private reptile show!

Cade of the Blade!

When Cade came home from camp, all the girls were excited to see him and gave him hugs and Cade even allowed it. Hailey was especially excited to see him because he pulled out her first tooth!
Cade spent a week at scout camp biking and canoeing everday. He had a great time except for when he got sick. He got the stomach flu after his 50 mile bike ride but toughed it out even though he kept throwing up. He had great leaders that took care of him and helped him get a lot of merit badges. He didn't so much like having to drink lots of fluids as it was believed he was suffering from heat exhaustion!! Dave was able to go up for a few days and spend time with the boys. Cade came home so appreciative of everything. I was shocked when he thanked me for making lunch and cleaning it up.
Cade camped by the Funny Farm bridge. This is the place where Dave asked me to marry him. Well, it was one of the 2 places he proposed. Things must be looking good because Dave and I just celebrated our 18th anniversary.
